Makeup for Barack Obama!

On September 15, 2008 Senator Barack Obama was in Denver, CO filming an interview for Bloomington Productions and I was fortunate enough to meet this kind man and do his makeup! He was so personable and I would be proud to have him as our next president. Just a little dusting of MAC Blot Powder in Dark, MAC Moisturecover Concealer in NW40, MAC Matte Texture and Chanel Precision Lip Corrector is all Barack needed! Above is Barack and I (4 months pregnant!).

Well I just had a Bridal Consultation after I saw you and then they called me an hour before I was supposed to be downtown to do his makeup. For security reasons they can’t plan ahead with makeup artists and other services. I would have told you!

How excited you must have been to help such a wonderful, person like Barak Obama!! I am learning how to use Twitter and found you there. Thankyou for all of the tips. Wow,Danica, you are becoming quite the celebrity make-up artist but then again you are an artist in a million! Barak should feel honored that you did his make-up!Anyway, this will definately boost your resume, afterall he is a candidate for the presidency. Way to go!!!!!

I love your videos on “Youtube”! My friend and I would love to know how to apply blush and bronzer properly, to define your cheekbones. Thanks so much!!

Thank you! I will do a tutorial on contouring with a bronzer, but for now you can check out my flawless face tutorial which gives you an idea of where to apply bronzer and then using a blush just on the apples of the cheeks. It changes with personal preference a the type of look that you are trying to create as well. Stay tuned!
