Here is my latest video on how to create a flawless face for every woman! Everyone knows my policy about leaving your house looking your best, and here are a couple of quick steps that everyone can do and most importantly has time for. I gave an example in my you tube description of this video about how you never know who you will run into or what you will be doing that day, so always look amazing! The example was that I was having a wacky pregnancy craving and had to make banana pancakes with homemade blueberry sauce and fresh homemade whipped cream for dinner. I was cooking away as my phone rings at 6:10pm….It was a production company here in Denver looking for a Denver Makeup Artist to do Barack Obama’s makeup! Thankfully I was dressed cute and had done my hair and makeup because I really had just enough time to put on my heels, grab my kit and go! I had to be downtown by 7:00pm, so I flew like a mad women! I forgot to even look at myself in the mirror! So this may not happen everyday, but hey you never know, right? For a lot of women you might run into your ex when you are running into the grocery store and praying that no one will see you!? This tutorial takes just 2-3 short minutes and is attainable for every single women of every type and skin tone! You just need your colors and a couple of minutes, a little mascara and gloss then you are out the door!

Danica-
I would love for you to do a posting on products that you’ve found to be really effective that are low cost (and readily available… like at normal drugstores).
Any plans for anything like that in this tough economy???
Thanks so much… you’re great!

I wish I knew more about drug store brands than I do. I have been so paranoid about my skin my whole life that I have been so careful about what I use. I will tell you though, that I love almost anything by neutrogena and it was recommended to me years ago by one of dermatologists. I have never really tried anything by them that I didn’t like. I found it less irritating than most brands:)

Hi Danica!
I put concealer under my eyes every morning. At the end of the day when I get home the place where my concealer was is like when you bruise the yellowish tone! Have any suggestions?

Hi Ella,
I am not sure what exactly is happening, but it sounds like the concealer that you are using is not for you. I would see a dermatologist a.s.a.p. Try a hypo-allergenic product for now, like clinic or a mineral makeup. Concealer should just be concealing any darkness or discoloration around the eyes, but not causing it!

Hey Danica,
First off I just want to say I love your videos and all your work! You are amazing! But my question is about primer. Do you use it everyday even when using powder makeup? I use MAC primer and by the end of the day my makeup is still all runny and doesnt seem to have stayed well at all. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Alex,
A primer should help your makeup stay on and improve the look of the texture of the skin. If it is still not working for you, then I would take a look at your foundation, powder and what you are doing during the day for touch ups. Try a long wearing matte foundation, set by a loose or pressed powder and then use blotting papers throughout the day to absorb excess oil. This should do the trick! Also, you may be using a moisturizer or sunscreen that is too heavy or greasy, so make sure that they are both lightweight and oil free. Good luck!

Hi Asma,
Thank you so much, I appreciate all of your support! Have you tried an NW? Sometimes it ends up working better than an NC because it can be more warm and not turn grey. Try it out and see what you think:)
